Title: Manager, Brand Partnerships (Contract Position)
Reports to: Chief Revenue Officer
Location: Los Angeles or NYC
The Brand Partnerships Manager is a highly strategic, organized, and calming force in a fast-paced environment. This individual works well in a team-based, detail-oriented workplace. This person must be adaptable and have a passion for leading and collaborating across teams to plan and deliver for clients with top-notch execution. The focus of this role will be managing and selling brand campaigns for Kin-produced original shows.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and sell branded content campaigns (especially brand/product integration into video shows), and run point both internally and externally to ensure timely and successful execution.
- Collaborate with Kin teams throughout content strategy planning and execution of campaigns. Teams include programming, production, post-production, legal and finance.
- Serve as brand and agency lead contact throughout the sales process, campaign planning and execution. Provide attentive client service.
- If needed, attend shoot days to ensure brand integrations are filmed as planned, working with producers and talent to make any adjustments or problem solve as needed on set.
- Build relationships with agencies and brands to secure new business and larger partnerships as well as renew current business.
- Respond to inbound inquiries, pitch Kin to potential partners, negotiate campaign deal points.
Who You Are:
- Knowledgeable about the digital/social media and branded content landscape, especially the digital video landscape.
- A doer and team player, inspiring those around you to get things done even though they don't report to you.
- Calm, cool & collected during challenging times (e.g., deadlines and client urgency).
- Clear communicator, both written and verbally with clients and internal teams.
- Adaptable and solution oriented in a fast-paced environment.
- Unafraid to reach out to anyone to help with solutions or provide information you need.
What You Have:
- 3+ years of experience in campaign management, client services, account management and sales.
- Experience managing brand sponsorships/brand integrations for a digital publisher or influencer marketing campaigns.
- Experience working across multiple social media platforms (e.g., YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Tik-Tok, Pinterest, Twitter, Snapchat).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A positive, solution-oriented demeanor. Look for ''yes'' before saying ''no''.
- Patience, thoughtfulness, and confidence to communicate with talent, brands, and agencies in fast paced situations.
- Excellent Google Docs, Slides, and Sheets skills.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Nice to have: experience with social media management tools like the YouTube CMS, Facebook CMS.
- Nice to have: experience running or analyzing paid marketing campaigns.
