Line Producer Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Line Producer to join the team. As the Line Producer you will oversee all logistics involved with the production of our ongoing series as well as management of the production department. You will be responsible for guiding our productions through pre-production all the way to post-production. Ensuring that our shows stay on budget and on time. Below is a description of duties.
Generating all budgets for shows
Hiring of all crew
Coordinating with talents glam and wardrobe teams
Maintaining a large roster of freelance crew
Location scouting (for local productions)
Coordinate and bid on equipment rentals
Work closely with producers on shooting schedules
Track all expenses related to production
Manage production coordinators and production managers
Ensure all permits have been filed on time
Running production meetings
Ensuring that covid protocols are maintained on each production
Coordinating testing for all cast and crew before each shoot
Work closely with the accounting department to ensure payroll and invoices are correct and submitted in a timely manner
Ensure all releases are signed for talent and materials
Work closely with the Director of Post Production to ensure all technical requirements are met on each production
Ensuring all production gear is maintained and stored safely
Generate call sheets when needed

Astute attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
3 - 5 years of experience as a production manager
Knowledge of all aspects of production
A team leader
Excellent foresight for potential logistical challenges
Stays calm under pressure
Deadline driven
Knowledgeable of current rates for crew positions
Technical knowledge needed for the role
