Position Overview
We currently have an opening for a Creative Content Coordinator. This is an opportunity to join a small team in growing a new social media visual voice for KIMBRA by crafting and maintaining a consistent brand identity across all physical and digital platforms. The role is a combination of creative curation, technology and strategy. The ideal candidate is an aesthetically talented and driven content creator on Instagram, highly skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, a strong understanding of visual narrative and storytelling, trustworthy, and capable of adapting and performing under the deadline pressures of an ever-changing music industry.
Responsibilities
· Work closely with Creative Team to curate and position new branded voice materials
· Oversee continuity of artist identity and maximize narrative experience across all physical and digital platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Web) with a primary focus on Instagram.
· Upload and curate all branded creative materials using Apps such as Preview and Planoly
· Craft campaign curations and brainstorm innovative content ideas to support brand initiatives through editorial storytelling, multi-disciplinary collaborations, partnerships with influencers and consumer engagement (e.g., gifting, album and tour activations, micro-influencer programs, etc.)
· Work closely with Team's graphic team to implement and execute a brand-driven digital content roadmap using our new rebranded content (incl. social media channels, website, newsletter, Patreon etc.)
· Evaluate and react to the impact of social media reputation and perceptions.
· Benchmark and research competitor and aligned music industry leaders in social media to recommend creative improvements for Instagram caption and content creation.
· Work closely with our team Social Media Data Analyst on aligned content tests and emerging platforms to uncover opportunities for ongoing growth, innovation, and fan engagement
· Understand artist identity goals to align creative marketing and digital media activities and outputs accordingly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required with a background in art or design.
- Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and the Microsoft Office Suite. Photography, curation and video skills are strongly preferred.
- 1-2 years of professional social media experience with demonstrated ability to manage brand presence across several platforms.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- A pulse for what's trending on social platforms and how to align, curate and voice content to that pulse
- Possess a positive, professional, loyal, collaborative and solution-minded attitude and be willing to step into unexpected roles as needed, with a pragmatic and goal-oriented approach.
- Self-motivated, resourceful and independent. Ability to manage the curation of multiple accounts and handle tight deadlines under minimal supervision in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Maintain utmost confidentiality and clear vision of all materials
