Keep Me Posted, a FotoKem company, a leading television post-production facility in Burbank, is looking for an Encoder to help support our dynamic and growing company. FotoKem provides creative and technical support to all major studios in Hollywood, and has been a respected part of the global film making community since 1963. We are looking for an experienced and capable candidate who will report to the Operations Manager and work alongside the diverse family of employees in FotoKem's film laboratory, digital services departments and audio houses.
The role of KMP Encoder is primarily responsible for the creation of various file types while working under tight client deadlines. The KMP Encoder works alongside the diverse family of employees in FotoKem's film laboratory, digital services departments and audio houses. The KMP Encoder must have the ability to follow directions with little supervision, be organized, communicate well and maintain focus on work and completion in a timely fashion.
Essential Job Functions:
Applicant must be proficient in Avid Media Composer, Resolve, QuickTime Pro7, and Compressor
Be proficient with transcoding files in various frame rates, frame sizes, and codecs
Knowledge of Adobe Premiere is a plus
Be self-motivated and demonstrate initiative.
Must have at least three years of professional Post Production experience.
Must be a team player who works well with others and other departments.
Report to work on time and as scheduled.
4pm to 12:30am shift
Other duties assigned.
Work Environment & Activities:
Remote work with a possibility of on-site work in the future.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers, and talk or hear. The employee is required to stand, sit, walk, and reach with hands and arms
Needs to be able to work on a computer using mouse and keyboard during shift.
