Job Title: Trainee – Video Content
Job Summary: The Video Content Trainee will assist in all aspects of creating video content for the Kansas City Royals. This includes shooting events, editing videos and being involved with the creative process. Candidates need to have experience with Sony cinema cameras and advanced knowledge editing with Adobe Premiere.
Position Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
• Produce, shoot and edit video content for the Kansas City Royals. Platforms include social media, in-stadium and television
• Capture events, interviews and game footage for editing
• Act as Production Assistant or Grip on large production shoots
• Actively participate in the creative development process
• Assist in day-to-day production operations
• Assist with footage requests and administrative duties
• Other duties as assigned
Position Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required:

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift items weighing as much as 25 pounds
• Must be able to work in a seated position for majority of workday
• Must be able to be productive utilizing a computer keyboard and telephone
• Must be able to be productive in a work environment where the noise level can be high at times
• Specific vision abilities include close vision and ability to adjust focus
• Must be comfortable walking to navigate the facility to access the office, concourse, etc.
• Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as required by deadlines and event scheduling

This role is a Part-Time, Non-Exempt opportunity that is not eligible for Company Benefits, 401K, and PTO. The schedule for this position is dependent on our team schedule and is subject to change.
