Full-time, Non-Exempt
JOB SUMMARY:
Royals Charities is the corporate foundation of the Kansas City Royals. This position is responsible for coordinating and supporting the Royals Charities team through initiatives, events, and programs. This position will report to the Executive Director, Royals Charities.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
• Works with the team to coordinate Royals Community Ticket Program, Donation Requests and Volunteer Program.
• Schedule team meetings and events.
• Prepares reports and statistical reports for department and Royals Charities Board.
• Assists with updating website and social media.
• Work with Human Resources department to coordinate and maintain the Royals Volunteer Program.
• Process online donations and correspondence with donors as well as tax letters.
• Maintain donor database and create mailing lists as needed.
• Provide overall support to the Community Impact Department.
• Interact professionally with public, associates and fans via telephone, email and mail, and promote the Royals and Royals Charities impact into our community.
• Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
• College degree in a four-year institution, plus a minimum of two [KV3] years of relevant experience in Marketing/Public Relations/and/or Fundraising preferred
• Strong time management, organizational, and customer service skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed
• Effective writing, telephone, and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work independently, prioritize, and handle multiple projects
• Detail oriented and able to work in high-pressure environment
• Proficient in donor database/fundraising software preferred
