Job Summary: Position will serve as the initial day-to-day contact for the Kansas City Royals Season Ticket Members. The primary focus of the position will be renewing our Season Ticket base and assisting Season Ticket customers on a daily basis. Position will be responsible for seat improvement, account balances, and other inquiries from our Season Ticket Members. Representative is responsible for resolving all issues in a positive manner, exceeding customer expectations, and providing interaction that is reflective for a model professional sports franchise.
Accountabilities:
• Maintain relationship with existing Season Ticket Members to retain and grow their spend year over year
• Generate revenues from existing Season Ticket Members and new buyers for season tickets, groups, and small ticket packages
• Attain individual and department sales goals as set by the Management
• Accurately and successfully convey all key messages to the Club's season ticket base, single-game ticket purchasers, and general public
• Ensure customer data and profile requirements are accurately represented in database
• Execute customer communication including but no limited to calls, emails, and letters related to season ticket, ticket-related issues, and general concerns
• Assist all sales-related programs including but not limited to account renewals, special events, annual relocations, and account payments
• Responsible for Season Ticket interaction at seat visits at home games
• Responsible for staffing at the Sales and Service Center during home games
• Represent the Sales/Service Department during all Season Ticket Member and outside events
• Responsible for working with Sales staff regarding relocation, account changes, and all service related inquiries for existing and new customers
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
• General education background equivalent to a university education degree
• Minimum of two (2) years' work experience in sales and customer service with proven ability to meet deadlines and quotas
• Proficient skills in computer including experience with MS Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, TDC, and CRM. Ability to learn and master new software programs
• Excellent oral communication and customer service problem solving skills
• Basic mathematical and writing skills
• Able to travel around the ballpark visiting clients during home games and able to escort and show potential customers carious seating options around the ballpark
• Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Consistent, punctual, and regular attendance
• Professional image and demeanor
• Strong ability to work well with co-workers and supervisors in a team environment
