kaboom productions is in search of an intern!

kaboom productions is a company with a decade's worth of experience in commercial, music video and film production. With a feature contending for festival distribution, hundreds of commercials under our belt, Oscar-nominated and Sundance winning directors on our roster and new forays into cable television programming and branded content, kaboom productions is experiencing our most exciting year to date! We work with companies like Disney, Yahoo!, Google, Microsoft and more and have produced music videos for artists like Switchfoot, The Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato, Debby Ryan, Bridgit Mendler, Sixpence None the Richer and Disney's Camp Rock 2.


We are seeking a motivated, outgoing, friendly individual who is interested in getting some experience working for a commercial production company. Must exhibit a can-do attitude and cooperative spirit, be vocal and excited about learning the industry and meeting a number of the people that work in the small but thriving film, video, television and commercial industry in the Bay Area.

Duties include but are not limited to: creating director reels and menus, organizing and maintaining our reel creation website, helping prepare for commercial shoots, researching locations and crews, running errands and some general office duties. Experience with Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro, Photoshop and Microsoft office a plus; web experience is great, but it is not at all expected.

This is a great opportunity for students or recent grads. It is an unpaid position with possibilities for paid PA work with kaboom in the future. During the internship, interns WILL have an opportunity to get on-set in a number of capacities. This is an excellent way to meet people in the industry, make connections and gain practical experience. You'll have contact with the exec producer, head of production, directors & more as well as the opportunity for sitdown job and industry talks with our producers and business owner, Lauren Schwartz. Interns must have a CA driver’s license but do not have to own a car. Preference given to those applicants with some Final Cut Pro and DVD Studio Pro experience. The internship is three months long beginning as soon as possible and interviewing beginnin this week. College credit is available, but not required. check out our website.

Job Qualifications: Available two and a half days a week. Currently in search of a highly-skilled, Thursday and Friday intern.
