House Manager (artist mgmt team-day to day)
House Manager
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Schedule: Full-time, on-site, includes occasional weekends or evenings due to artist schedule
Reports To: Artist Management
Position Summary
The House Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the artists' residence and ensuring a clean, safe, and well-maintained living environment. This role supports the artist group by preparing meals, managing household logistics, and executing errands and housekeeping tasks with professionalism, discretion, and the highest level of confidentiality. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that requires flexibility and strong judgment.
Key Responsibilities
Household Operations & Maintenance
• Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable home environment in all shared and private areas.
• Perform light cleaning, sanitizing, and general upkeep of living spaces.
• Oversee household supplies and restocking of essentials.
• Coordinate with vendors or service providers for home maintenance, repairs, or deliveries as needed.
Meal Preparation & Cooking
• Plan, prepare, store daily meals and snacks based on dietary needs, preferences, and schedule requirements.
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, including proper food storage and sanitation.
Errands & Logistics
• Conduct grocery shopping, bulk household shopping, and procurement of specialty food items.
• Run personal or household errands in support of the artist group.
• Manage receipt tracking for household purchases.
• Ensure the home is stocked and prepared ahead of artist schedules, rehearsals, or travel.
Support for Artists
• Provide a structured, stable, and supportive environment conducive to rest and productivity.
• Support the arrangement of artist schedules, including coordinating rehearsals, meetings, and personal engagements.
• Ensure the timely arrival and safe transport of artists to and from events, media appearances
• Exercise strong boundaries and professionalism when interacting with artists and management staff.
• Maintain strict confidentiality on all personal, professional, and household information related to the artists, staff, and operations.
• Use discretion and sound judgment in all interactions and uphold privacy expectations at all times.
Qualifications
• Prior experience in house management, day-to-day manager, hospitality, or similar roles preferred.
• Cooking skills, knowledge of food safety preferred
• High level of organizational ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules and respond quickly to artist needs.
• A valid driver's license and proficient ability to drive in Los Angeles, license with good standing.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform housekeeping tasks for extended periods.
