Position Summary
JYP Entertainment America is looking for an experienced, hard-working Production Coordinator to help us keep growing! You will be responsible for ensuring quality assurance and that the production team meets scheduled goals. This entails a range of oversight of work including planning, scheduling, directing, and executing production activities for maximum performance of projects. Other duties include the development of cost-effective measures with the aim of achieving exceptional business practices.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure quality assurance throughout the production process
- Coordinate all production logistics for internal shoots, shoot schedules, call sheets, location agreements, etc
- Manage the production team so that scheduled goals are met
- Plan, schedule, direct and execute production activities
- File and organize production paperwork
- Develop cost-effective measurements to achieve exceptional business practices
- Work closely with cross-operational teams to ensure deadlines, budgets, and deliverables are met
- Track deliverables and communicate fulfillment of production milestones, production issues or changes, to project team members
- Provide timely updates on production schedules, milestone payment confirmation and other deliverables information
- Maintain constant communication with production company to ascertain the most accurate production information such as production schedule, shoot locations, episode descriptions, credits, scripts, graphics, etc.
- Assist producers with research and fact checking
- Coordinate and communicate with Business Affairs and Legal as needed regarding business and contractual matters
- Adapt to changes in the market and respond to customer demands
- Maintain current knowledge on the market and industry trends
- Conduct research to further understand competitors
- Maintain a Status Report for all projects
- Serve as a liaison for vendors on event related matters
- Participate in production meetings and providing insight to clients and staff on projects and event operations
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of skills, training, and experience
- A minimum of 5 years of prior production experience in the TV industry
- Strong understanding of industry market and conditions
- Working knowledge of technical software that is specific to the industry
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Sharp business acumen and financial projection
- High regard for quality assurance
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Willing to work flexible hours and shifts
- Willingness to travel and be onsite and in-office
- Proficiency in Korean is highly preferred
