Description
The Production Manager oversees all aspects of physical production from pre through production and wrap across Brand Socials, Originals, Ad Sales and Streaming TV projects. The Production Manager will supervise the Production Coordinators and as a team they will work closely with Producers, APs and Field Crew to oversee all production elements of a project across pre-production and in the field. This position will report to and support the Line Producer and is based in our Culver City, CA office or remote.
Responsibilities
Works with the Line Producer to prepare and vet project budgets and draft relevant production schedules and timelines.
Set up productions and prepare return-to-work and Covid Safety plans for review.
Lead or assist with search and hire of key production staff as required.
Determine and source quotes from key vendors and route through to the Line Producer.
Track and manage all costs, keeping the Line Producer apprised of status regularly.
Assisting with project tracking in Jira or applicable Production Management software.
Manages all logistical needs for productions, including location scouting, permitting, hiring and onboarding, releases and other crew needs as required.
Be the production lead and run the schedule both on set and in the field.
Problem solving as issues arise throughout production and establishing an open dialogue with the entire production team both internal and external.
Ensure productions run smoothly, remain safe, meet deadlines and stay within budget.
Ensure a project is successfully wrapped and all accounting is routed to the Line Producer for actualization.

Requirements
3 - 4 years experience in production management both in the field and on a network or production company level.
Deep understanding of physical production management and production budget processes.
Excellent problem-solving creativity and a can-do attitude.
Personality profile to fit into a high-growth, entrepreneurial culture that requires teamwork and significant interaction with employees at all levels.
Ability to handle a fast-paced environment simultaneously supervising several projects in various points of production (from development through delivery).
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multitask.
Proficiency in Showbiz Budgeting, Google Suite, and familiarity with Slack is preferred.
Strong working knowledge of budgeting including market rates on labor, gear and facilities. Knowledge of guild and union guidelines is a plus.
