Description
As Manager, Audience Development and Analysis (i.e. Content Strategy Manager), you'll be responsible for viewership optimization and performance analysis for our Streaming TV Channel's programming and promotion. This position is a key part of the content feedback loop, identifying audience trends on the platform, channel, and programming level, and constantly adapting to a changing landscape. Success is measured by viewership, time watched, and available inventory across Streaming TV channels and platforms. Excellent opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing team that is at the center of the most talked about and fastest growing part of the Digital and TV industry.
This position will report to the Director, Program Strategy and Scheduling, Streaming TV.
This position is based in our Los Angeles Office.
Responsibilities
Manage audience development and performance analysis for Jukin Media's Streaming TV Fast Channel and VOD offering and work with Program Strategy and Marketing teams on program/promo planning, scheduling and programming acquisitions.
Analyze the performance of Streaming TV Channels, programming and promotion to optimize and grow viewership (viewing hours, watch time, promo conversion, monetization rate, etc.) and establish effective feedback loops with respective team members.
Report and evaluate existing metrics, develop new metrics and reports, and provide strategic recommendations based on the findings.
Create, manage, and continually update best practices and audience insights for programming and promotion.
Identify growth opportunities for new programming and cross-promotion.
Work with production to optimize programming slate.
Monitor and analyze competitor channels and share learnings on trends in Streaming and FAST Channel space.
Interact with platform partner counterparts.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree, preferably in mathematics and/or an analytical major.
4+ years experience with 2+ years in a creative organization using data to shape programming strategy and grow audiences. Streaming TV or TV audience research experience is a plus.
Solid understanding of audience measurement and ability to analyze and translate to successful strategies
Deep understanding of and passion for the Streaming TV landscape, included FAST, VOD, AVOD and SVOD.
Excellent communication and writing skills
Personality profile to fit into a high-growth, entrepreneurial culture that requires teamwork and significant interaction with employees at all levels.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Well-developed Microsoft Office product suite skills and advanced Excel and analytical skills required.
