As the Creative Resource Manager, you will be the ''air traffic controller'' for Jukin's global creative production team, which creates thousands of videos a year across several brands across the major social platforms and our own streaming television apps. You will be the first person in the process to look at a request. You will be responsible for driving the development of custom creative content and ensuring flawless tracking and reporting. This position is an integral piece in the success of launching and managing digital video and ecommerce content from production through activation and ultimately reconciliation.
The CRM works with the production team to make prioritization decisions to achieve production timelines. They proactively identify possible issues with bandwidth and will preemptively problem solve when projects build up too quickly.
This position will report to the VP, Digital Studio. This position is based in our Los Angeles office.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for studio resource utilization; track talent profiles, usage and maximize staff performance
Track the creative team's bandwidth and determine if a creative can be assigned on a project based on their current load
Manage onboarding, off boarding for freelancers
Launch and monitor project delivery and work with creative team to ensure projects are pacing toward full delivery
Work with the VP Digital Studio, EIC, and Post Supervisor to review weekly reporting and give input on creative and staffing recommendations.
Proactively builds and maintains a rolodex of freelance talent included (but not limited to) writers, directors, and producers
Requirements:
5+ years experience in project management and production in the industry or related fields, ie: production company, studio, digital publisher, ad agency, etc.
Must have experience working with in-house creative teams
Problem solver, flexible attitude and a sense that you are independently serving the best interests of the people
Ability to communicate clearly and interact with others in a positive, effective way
Experience working with external vendors a plus
Excellent negotiation skills
Work well under pressure and consistently delivers high quality work that improves the overall creative concepts and process
Demonstrate excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast paced environment
Self-directed, goal-oriented, results-driven personality with a commitment to continuous improvement
Personality profile to fit into a high-growth, entrepreneurial culture that requires teamwork and significant interaction with employees at all levels.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile growth environment where you will get your hands into the details.
Well-developed Microsoft Office product suite skills and advanced Excel and analytical skills required. In addition, familiarity with project management software such as Jira, Trello, Airtable, etc.
