Description

As the Clearance Analyst, you will be responsible to review content for potential clearance issues, including personal rights, copyrights, trademarks and any other potential 3rd party IP. The Clearance Analyst will closely collaborate with Jukin's Legal and Rights Management teams to identify clearance statuses for a number of UGC video clips within Jukin's library  
 
The successful candidate will have a superior eye for detail and the ability to analyze risk and advise across multiple cross-functional teams.
 
This role reports to the VP, Assistant General Counsel and is based in Los Angeles.

Responsibilities

Reviewing UGC video clips to identify rights needs for appearances and third party owned IP such as music, trademark, copyright and personality rights.
Advising, counseling, and collaborating with various internal stakeholders including Business and Legal Affairs, Rights Management and Licensing.

Requirements

2+ years of experience with rights clearances, specifically for advertising use.
General understanding of US IP law, including issues related to copyright, trademarks, personality rights, right of publicity, etc.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to make thoughtful, strategic recommendations about risk in a fast-paced environment.
Unwavering attention to detail.
Creative and practical problem solver.
Familiarity with licensing and rights agreements a plus.
Proficiency with Google suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, etc.).
Organized and good data entry skills.
Ability to maintains high data entry accuracy.
Ability to ''hit the ground running.''
