Intern - Casting

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

Judy Henderson & Associates Casting is an independent, NYC casting service headed by Judy Henderson, who has many years' experience as a casting director. We cast a large range of projects, and television to feature films and live theater.
CURRENT AND PAST PROJECTS INCLUDE:

Current projects include three (3) films and two (2) plays and one (1) musical.

Past projects include:

TV credits Homeland - 8 seasons- Emmy Award- 2 Artios Awards
City On A Hill - 2 seasons.
Film credits Charlotte (currently casting) Merrily We Roll Along (currently casting) My Good Mother (in post-production), The Magnificent Meyersons, Suburbia, Before Sunrise, and After Sunset.
Theatre-regional, off-Broadway, and Broadway shows including work with The New Group, The Play Company, The Bay Street Theater, and Circle in the Square.

We are looking for intelligent, able, eager-to-learn individuals to help us in the daily operations of our office. 2-3 days a week in person from 10am-6pm. 4-month commitment (September-December, 2023)
An intern's responsibilities would include:

Answering phones/ taking and relaying messages
Acting as a liaison to agencies and unions
Assisting in scheduling audition sessions
Organizing submissions (headshots) for each project
Checking in actors for auditions
Uploading sessions to the internet
Knowledgeable in computer and communication skills

This is an unpaid internship. If you are eligible for college credit, we will work with you so that you receive it.
