Audience Engagement Lead
Joint Venture
Los Angeles, CAThis is a Full Time Job
The Audience Engagement Lead is the architect of community around. You won’t just analyze audiences – you’ll organize and ignite them. This role melds grassroots organizing and film distribution, with the curiosity of a cultural anthropologist.
You’ll obsess over what makes audiences tick – their interests, their identities, and their behaviors – and you'll build bespoke strategies that transform those insights into action. You’ll bring audiences into the world through direct channels and by orchestrating coalitions of organizations, brands, and ambassadors who amplify the reach of each campaign.
We’re looking for someone who wants to approach film audiences the way a great community organizer approaches a campaign: turning loosely connected groups of people into real communities around our films and filmmakers. If you can look at passive audiences and see how to make them active participants, champions, and collaborators, this role is for you.
You'll report directly to the CEO and work closely with the Chief Creative Officer, shaping how connects culture-defining films with the communities that need to see them.

• Create playbooks for scalable, repeatable audience engagement programs while allowing for film-specific nuances

Cross-team collaboration
• Collaborate with all team members to develop film-specific strategies and blueprints, assess their performance, and adjust approaches in real time to maximize reach and revenue
• Collaborate with CEO and Business Operations to create internal reports and post-mortems on each release, and across the company generally
• Participate in acquisitions screenings and provide analytical insights on target projects

• 5+ years of experience in community organizing, coalition building, or audience development, with proven ability to develop and execute successful complex campaigns
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
