Part Time Paid Internship
UTA Sports is offering a remote, part-time internship opportunity focused on sourcing and developing intellectual property (IP) for sports content. This internship aims to provide students with practical experience in transforming their ideas into marketable pitch materials, while also enabling UTA Sports to understand the narratives that resonate with the Gen Z sports audience.
This is a part-time position, averaging 5-10 hours per week and will pay $18.50 per hour.
What You Will Do
• Independently work on assigned prompts related to sports content development.
• Research and analyze sports-related topics to create compelling pitch materials.
• Produce a weekly recap of major stories in sports.
• Provide coverage of long-form journalism pieces related to sports.
• Watch new releases of documentaries and docuseries and provide detailed comments and opinions.
What You Will Need
• Current enrollment in a college or university program, preferably in a related field such as journalism, communications, or media studies.
• Strong interest in sports and understanding of current trends and narratives.
• Excellent research and writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with digital content creation tools is a plus.
• Access to reliable internet and communication tools for remote work.
