The Criterion Collection, publisher of film on BLU RAY's and DVD's, is looking for a well-qualified person to work in our technical department as as restoration artist. This is a freelance position and an exciting opportunity for anyone with an interest in film and video; the right candidate will have a solid experience working on feature films using any of the following softwares: Phoenix, Mti, Resolve, Pf Clean; while presenting exceptional attention to detail and communication skills, the ability to work independently and - equally important - within a team. A solid knowledge of file and tape based workflow and a strong understanding of a digital environment is necessary (digital restoration, color correction, encoding, data management etc..). Good eyes and good ears are also essential! Knowledge of Resolve, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, is a plus. If you think you have all the above and a good sense of humor too, then submit your resume.
