Under the supervision of the Public Relations Director, the Tour Publicist is in charge of media and public relations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Media Relations
• Responsible of establishing messages conveyed to the media and of generating coverage in each market with national, international and industry (equestrian) media;
• Develop strategies and communication plans in each market, based on the production calendar;
• Represent the company and the artists, while working in collaboration with the public relations agencies;
• Write and supervise the adaption of all press contents;
• Organize media events;
• Work in collaboration with the artistic director and the team to develop scripts and content;
• Manage press tickets;
• Greet medias and special quests on location;
• Prepare and update the media plan as well as the interview schedule and communicate to all departments;
• Establish key messages, prepare speaking notes and conduct spokespeople training;
• Provide feedback to employees and artists;
• Manage the website's media room content.
Public Relations
• Liaise with guests, VIPs and influencers in each market;
• Coordinate greeting of special guests in each market (including sponsors);
• Organize Opening Nights.
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor Degree in communications, public relations, journalism or the equivalent;
• Five to ten years of experience as a publicist;
• Responsible, able to work independently, meticulous and capacity to work under pressure;
• Interested in touring full-time with the show and authorized to travel and work in foreign countries.
