Motion Graphics Designer, Visual Effects Artist

Required Skills / Knowledge:

excellent design sense
ADOBE CREATIVE SUITE 5/6, especially AFTER EFFECTS for graphics and photos
strong mastery of MOTION 5 for 3D compositing, vector paint, and motion tracking
familiarity with AVID and FINALCUT offline and online editing workflows
strong APPLE computer skills, including familiarity with occasional WINDOWS computers (turn on/off, loading media)
experience with GREENSCREEN and 3D VFX
familiarity using the full Microsoft Office Suite: especially Excel and Outlook for project management
strong organizational skills for project delivery and raw media archiving and tracking
meticulous attention to detail and finishing
ability to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and juggling multiple projects at once
ability to keep high profile production information confidential
ability to manage project delivery and a small team of compositors on larger jobs

* experience in NUKE and other ILM VFX software a plus

Experience Needed:

must have a production reel of produced content demonstrating skill and design sense.
no minimum requirements for employment, but should have real world experience demonstrating the quality of work

Optimal Candidate:

recent design student or freelancer looking for full time employment
motion graphics whiz looking for quick advancement to Director of VFX in television and movies
