VFX Scheduler/Receptionist

Based in Los Angeles, with locations in Vancouver, London, Sydney, Pune, Melbourne and New York, Method Studios is a leading post production facility providing a full range of visual effects services. As an artist-driven company, Method is built around an exceptional team of VFX professionals who have create award winning visual effects for Feature Film, Commercials, and Music Videos.

We are not looking for a career receptionist- We use this position as a stepping stone to other areas within the VFX Studio. All of our current coordinators and some producers started off as receptionist with our studio and have worked their way through the ranks.

We are looking for candidates who have an interest in the world of VFX and who are determined to move ahead within the studio.

Duties:

• Answering multi-line phone system while rolling calls to the appropriate departments/employees
• Some Knowledge of Xytech-File Maker Pro-Shotgun databases
• Administrative duties such as scanning, filing, faxing
• Will work closely with our Scheduling department to maintain current production schedules
• Will work closely with Recruiting to help input candidate profiles into the database
• Will handle all projects for the Operations team (parking/employee badges etc...)
• As a member of the Client Service team you will also be expected to be ''all hands on deck'' when needed for company events
