We have a FREELANCE position for an Encoding Operator located in Northvale, NJ.
Responsibilities
- Encode/Transcode files to specified formats
- Utilize machinery to record and playback
- Special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum of 2 '' 5 years of experience in encoding/transcoding
- Must be able to work variable shifts in a 24/7 operation
- Must be proficient in PC/MAC systems
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Knowledge of broadcast and digital media equipment and systems
- Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines
- Must be flexible to work overtime and weekends as needed as it is a 24/7 operation
- Experience in video production, digitizing, and editing
- Experience in delivering multimedia content over the web/broadband
- Solid understanding of computer systems for broadcast applications
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented, good organizational and follow through skills.
- Ability to multi-task and manage priorities.
- Able to maintain confidential work product.
- Education : High School Diploma Required/ Bachelor's Degree Preferred
