Social Media Summer Intern

Lions Gate is the leading independent filmed entertainment studio with a strong and diversified presence in motion pictures, television programming and home entertainment. Lions Gate has built one of the most prolific entertainment libraries through a combination of organic growth and acquisitions boasting nearly 12,000 titles, including renowned hits Dirty Dancing, Reservoir Dogs, and the Saw franchise. Other award winning motion picture titles include Crash, Monster's Ball, and Precious. Lions Gate also produces critically acclaimed television titles Weeds, Madmen and Nurse Jackie.
This internship is designed to provide interested college students with hands-on experience in Social Media, specifically in the entertainment industry. Because today's students may be tomorrow's leaders, our desire is to provide these individuals with a meaningful and educational experience.

Internship Description:
- Monitors and engages/grows audiences on Facebook, Twitter, Pintrest and You Tube
- Creates and copy writes content calendars for various Lionsgate movie pages (catalog and home entertainment releases)
- Male and female voices/tones-creative thinker
- Must be detail-oriented
- Movie Buff and/or experience in other social networking sites is a big plus

This internship is unpaid and for college credit only. Applicants MUST be able to provide appropriate documentation of credit on the first day.
