Intern - TV and Online Production

This is a Full Time Unpaid Internship

We're an LA-based entertainment news TV and online production company looking for smart, tech savvy interns who will work directly with our content: capturing footage, logging and also participating in the development of new online news formats for screenslam. The interns will also write postings and create content for our blog and social media outlets. These individuals will have the opportunity to assist our news coverage crews at film premieres and other Hollywood events. By the end of the internship they will have a thorough understanding of the process of producing and distributing entertainment news. For the right individuals this is a ''write your own ticket'' opportunity that has the possibility to lead to permanent employment.

Requirements
Tech savvy, smart, course background in production or writing. The ability to recognize film and TV personalities is a plus. Willingness to learn and be eager to be a part of the Entertainment industry. This is an unpaid internship that offers course credit and invaluable experience. We are open to non-students as well.

Responsibilities
The intern will be responsible for capturing, logging and digitizing video footage of multiple formats. The interns will also write postings and create content for our blog and social media outlets. He/she will also learn basic video editing skills, as well as accompanying producers, interviewers and camera crew on shoots and locations.
