Jujamcyn Theaters is recognized as a theatrical innovator, championing shows that push the boundaries of Broadway and create new experiences for audiences. The company owns and operates five Broadway theatres including the St. James, Al Hirschfeld, August Wilson, Eugene O'Neill, and Walter Kerr.
We currently have a great entry level opportunity available for a full time Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper within our accounting department.
The incumbent will assist the CFO and the accounting department with administrative tasks such as data entry, maintaining excel spreadsheets, bank reconciliations, opening and distributing mail, scanning and filing documents, and various other administrative/accounting related tasks.
This role is ideal for someone who has 1-3 years of administrative and bookkeeping experience, has a passion for the arts and is looking for exposure to the commercial theater industry.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a keen attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills. He or she will be self-directed, enthusiastic, personable, and have the effortless ability to work well and collaborate with others and at all levels within the organization.
Experience with Microsoft GP is a plus.
