Multiple Editors Needed!
Need: Assembly/Rough Cut
Range of Content: Narrative, Drama, Comedy
Length: Under 11 mins
Rough Cut Due: 4/11 or 4/18
Picture Lock Due: 5/14/12
Footage Sources: Canon EOS Cameras or RED
Compensation: $500 per project
Urgent need for editors to do assemblies/rough cuts for thesis films at the School of Visual Arts' Graduate Live Action Short Film department. Each film is backed by NY living legend Bob Giraldi, who acts as executive producer as well as chair of the department. All projects have been organized under direct supervision of a professional editor. The footage has been captured, transcoded, audio has been synchronized, everything is ready to start editing. We have four editing suites housing six stations, each station comprised of dual CinemaHD monitors and a MacPro with FCP7 + Studio.
Picture Lock is due 5/14/12, however you are only responsible for completing the rough cut (i.e. your commitment will be fulfilled before that date.)
