SoundCtrl is Seeking Interns in the NYC Area for Winter 2012

SoundCtrl is a community aimed at creating an open dialogue and exchange of music and technology culture. A SoundCtrl internship offers students a unique hands-on experience in music and technology convergence. We are currently seeking a part-time intern willing to dedicate 6 hours a day, 2 or 3 days per week during the spring semester in our office in New York City. The internship is unpaid and for credit only.

DIGITAL MARKETING & CONTENT INTERNSHIP

Job Description:

Find interesting and relevant articles to re-blog and post on the SoundCtrl website.
Expand and maintain several SoundCtrl social media accounts.
The intern will also be expected to contribute original content to the blog on a regular basis (one post per week).
The intern will have the opportunity to be on the cutting edge and interact with leaders in the music and technology space.

Requirements:

Current student able to accept a credit-based internship
Familiarity with the music and technology industries.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects.
Familiarity with social networking tools (Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr)
Familiarity with WordPress
Familiarity with Photoshop is a plus.
