Intern - Online Production

This is a Part Time Paid Internship

The Hubworld com is looking for a tech savvy Online Production Intern who will join our Burbank office and support the production of The Hubworld website. The intern will have daily interactions with design, copywriting, Discovery Network and Hasbro Studio. The Intern is expected to have a general knowledge of web production, simple web design and responsible for updating content on Hubworld. Interest in children entertainment TV networks are also appreciated.

Start date: January 2012

Schedule: Flexible, 15-20 hours/week

Online Production Intern

Reports to the Senior Producer

• Setting up weekly online content updates on Hubworld using a content management system (Alfresco highly desired)
• Identifying and tracking all current and upcoming network initiatives requiring online support
• Serves as digital asset liaison between both network and Hasbro stakeholders
• Capturing notes from various content strategy meetings and distributing them as necessary to requested parties
• Posting new content to the website, editing existing artwork and graphics using Adobe Photoshop
• Work with design and copywriting teams to request and manage art and copy assets for designated small projects

Requirement:

• Must be a student enrolled in an educational degree program
• Desired majors are web design/development, digital media
• Photoshop, HTML, MS Office
• Strong asset management skills
• Working knowledge of content management systems (CMS)
• Basic web production scheduling
• Knowledge of children entertainment TV networks, websites, and related content
• Must be a self-starter who can take initiative
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively with others

The position supports the website HUBWORLD with all production needs, not graphic design support.
