Senior Web Developer

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Warner Bros. Worldwide Television Marketing is seeking a Senior Web Developer to join the Digital Media team. The position will develop and maintain various digital media products using PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks¬. Set-up, customize, optimize, test and maintain Wordpress/Drupal sites. Use responsive design to support multiple devices of varying screen size and orientation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Create, maintain, troubleshoot and improve websites and Facebook/Mobile applications.

Integrate vendor-produced projects within current architecture and systems.

Implement various product/tools to enhance consumer experience (SEO/tracking analytics) and engagement through social networks (Facebook/Twitter).

Provide technical input and demonstrations for various digital media activities and new technologies.

Prepare and review technical documents and provide instructions and steps to enable the ownership of self-created applications.


JOB REQUIREMENTS

BA/BS Degree or other comparable training.

Minimum 4 years programming/coding web pages required.

Minimum 3 years and database administration/integration required.

Previous entertainment industry experience required.

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities.

Expert ability in configuring web servers using LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP).

Expert level coding skills in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Data services integration using XML and JSON.

Expert knowledge in SEO best practices.

Expert knowledge in creating custom Wordpress and Drupal sites.

Firm grasp of Presentation Tier in Web application development.

Firm grasp of Ajax-intensive development paradigm.

Deep understanding of HTML 5

Deep understanding of CSS 3 and its role in dynamic web content.

Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (jQuery, Google Libs).

Understanding of cross browser issues for the primary web browsers: IE, Firefox, Safari, and Chrome and mobile browsers.

Understanding of the HTTP protocol, HTTP headers, Mime Types, cookies, and general web server functionality and capabilities.

Experience with revision control systems.

Strong project management skills.

Solid communication, people and organizational skills.

Familiarity with iOS, Android, BlackBerry operating systems.

Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with persons on all levels.

Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail and understand written and oral instructions.

Must have the ability to organize and schedule work effectively.

Must have the ability to work well under time constraints.

Must be able to handle multiple projects and prioritize assignments.
