Sugar Hill Records is an independent Nashville-based record label specializing in Americana, roots, and bluegrass music. Established in 1978, Sugar Hill has been home to some of the world's most celebrated musicians, including Nickel Creek, Dolly Parton, Townes Van Zandt, Tony Rice, Doc Watson, Sam Bush, Marty Stuart, and countless others. It has cultivated a worldwide community of loyal supporters while garnering countless accolades, including fourteen Grammy Awards.
We have one internship position available in the publicity & marketing department. While it is an unpaid position, the Sugar Hill internship comes with perks. It is an exclusive position that provides the opportunity to work with world-class musicians and industry leaders, attend some amazing concerts, and join the growing community of Americana music professionals.
We keep our interns busy in a variety of areas, and encourage each of them to contribute his/her own unique skills, ideas, and passions to our team. We are a small, hard-working staff that works closely together in all aspects of the company, and each staff member wears many different hats - our interns should expect to do so as well.
