JOB PURPOSE AND DETAILS:
To license and sell TV content and expand sales opportunities internationally for all of our programs.
DETAILS:
We are a Hollywood based, prominent independent TV production and distribution company.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in international sales and licensing. They must have in-depth knowledge of the ins and outs of the business and be familiar with the current sales markets - MIPCOM, MIPTV & NAPTE etc. We are looking for candidates with a strong work ethic, the ability to work independently in a positive, supportive environment. Direct experience in the international sales and licensing business in, TV and Advertising an absolute requirement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• License our content to international networks
• Create, maximize and manage sales initiatives driving revenue
• Consistently meet or exceed sales goals
• Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with networks and operators worldwide
ADDITIONAL DUTIES, AND REQUIREMENTS TO BE CONSIDERED:
• Prior experience in International Sales for at least three to five years
• Strong track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals
• A positive attitude, punctual, regular, and consistent attendance
• Advanced PC skills; strong experience with MS Office
• Willingness to travel 25 – 35% of the year.
• Must have knowledge of general formats and technological needs for different regions
• Existing international client relationships and credibility
• Ability to deliver top-line revenue growth
• Excellent organizational skills
• Self starter, self motivated, proactive and sales goals oriented
• Excellent communication skills including face-to-face, written, presentation and phone. (Spanish, French and other languages a plus)
• A creative thinker capable of formulating, communicating, and overseeing the implementation of a strategic vision
• Consultative selling skills
• Creative and original sales approaches
• Ability to research, plan, prepare and execute the sales objectives and strategies
• Experience creating detailed reports
• Identify new markets
