Job Description Summary:
Faculty position responsible for preparing and teaching ACC Radio, Television, & Film (RTF) courses in engaging, innovative, and discipline-appropriate ways. This position will teach and coordinate our early PTECH program, working at Eastside Early College High School, mentoring students in our Event Videography certificate, which is stackable into the Streaming TV & Broadcast Production Associate of Applied Science Degree at the ACC Highland Campus Creative Digital Media Center.
Technology
Demonstrated proficiency using computer applications, online resources, and other technologies for the classroom.
Demonstrated proficiency using an online learning management system such as Blackboard to develop and build course content and perform administrative duties (posting office hours, syllabi, etc.)
Technical production expertise and skills as digital storyteller / event videographer, to include Adobe Creative Suite tools for filmmakers and media makers.
Required Education
In accordance with Southern Association of College and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) requirements:
Master's degree in Radio-Television-Film, or
Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in Radio-Television-Film.
Required Work Experience
In accordance with Southern Association of College and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) requirements:
Three (3) years of relevant non-teaching work experience in creative media industries.
