In order to ensure successful implementation of Project Vista (Workday) within DTCI, dedicated focus on change and transition management is essential. As a newly formed business segment of The Walt Disney Company, DTCI will require planful communications, coordination, and process definition among all HR functions across 50 countries. This role will be responsible for partnering with the Project Vista core team as well as HRBPs and functional HR leaders including talent acquisition, learning and development, talent planning, diversity and inclusion, compensation, benefits, and employee relations to ensure the new instance of Work Day meets our business needs globally and that our day-to-day operations are efficient and effective.
This project role will serve as an integrator across various segment and enterprise teams to ensure we represent the needs of DTCI in our global decision making. This role is responsible for establishing an integrated project plan, tracking milestones, providing updates, escalating and resolving issues, establishing clear governance and roles, planning regular meetings, and ensuring effective flow of communication across all stakeholders. This role will operate as a central point of contact and remain in close daily connection and partnership with the COEs and the central enterprise change management team responsible for the implementation for Work Day.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as single point of contact and overall change leader for the system implementation of Work Day for DTCI helping to create standardized processes of gathering feedback and aggregating a DTCI point of view. Participate in all cross-functional meetings to help 'connect the dots' and provide air traffic control across DTCI.
• Organize segment resources and deploy project management and change methodology that ensures each HR function within DTCI is positioned for the successful adoption of new digital capabilities with Work Day. This includes: kick-off meetings, deep dive sessions, regional/functional alignment and integrated planning sessions.
• Establish governance model including meetings, forums, processes and collaboration across varies stakeholders across DTCI and enterprise teams in a way that is agile, efficient and effective for our fast paced business. This includes: ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, charter, regular email updates, and recaps to HR leadership team.
• Lead efforts to socialize the initiative and lead an impact assessment by function/region and local regulations assessment to aid in planning, implementation, and optimization of new business processes and practices. This includes: identifying dependencies or impacts beyond the system and integration with HR Business Partners.
• Create a cross-functional team of HR professionals to ensure deep understanding of the new system and to help ensure integrated, comprehensive segment timelines for change, communication and training activities.
• Identify creative ways to enhance adoption and ensure readiness given most DTCI teams have minimal resources and are capacity constrained given the focus on continued integration efforts with 21CF.
Basic Qualifications:
• 5 – 7 years of experience in project management working across a variety of teams
• Familiarity and experience with HR Technology tools (prior implementation experience a plus)
• Employee experience and consumer centric mindset with sharp attention to detail/dependencies
• Ability to manage relationships and navigate a complex and matrix organization structure
• Ability to use sound judgment, work autonomously, drive work and solve problems
• Excellent oral and written communications at all levels of the organization
• Ability to streamline decisions, approvals and ensure collective approach to the work
