Production Staff Accountant - TV and Film

This position is with JFA and will be based out of our co-headquarters in New York City.

Job Overview:

We're looking for a staff accountant to assist senior production accountants, and work independently with:
• Purchase orders, vendor invoices, check runs & petty cash transactions
• Reconciliations and journal entries
• Working with our partner vendors and banks to resolve issues
• Cost reporting
• Non Union payroll

• Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting beneficial
• Accounting and/or production experience preferred

• Deeper understanding of budgets and cost accounts
• Proficiency with end-to-end accounting amongst the larger accounting ecosystem
• Application of proper coding for cost lines, tax credit qualification, 1099 reporting, etc
