Associate Producer

DESCRIPTION:

Jesse Watters Primetime is looking for a creative and hardworking Associate Producer to join the team in NY. The Associate Producer will pitch stories, select/build elements, and assist with the production of segments in a collaborative team environment. You're a Fox News fan who is interested in politics, culture, and current events. You see yourself as an aspiring Producer - willing to learn and grow from constructive feedback.

The Associate Producer will be offered the following shift:
Monday - Friday from 12 PM - 9 PM, ET

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Pitch stories and elements
• Assist with production of segments (selecting and editing elements such as sound, video clips, and graphics)
• Conduct in-depth research
• Produce content for Social Media
• Additional responsibilities based on your unique talents/abilities

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Bachelor's degree in journalism or related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience
• 1-3 years of prior television (or similar) experience
• Knowledge of news, politics, and current events; familiarity with popular influencers, commentators, and opinion makers
• Ability to work collaboratively with others under intense deadline pressure
• Ability to work independently
• Willingness to listen, learn, and grow from constructive criticism
