Our ideal candidate is a reliable multitasker who can observe executives and talent during production without disrupting them. They should also possess strong communication skills and be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and screenwriting software programs. As an intern at JCE, you can actively shadow our production team while completing assigned administrative and production-related tasks. This experience will provide a strong foundation for learning and growth in various areas. We are currently seeking interns to gain experience in the following fields:
• Physical Production- (Pre-, Active, and Post-)
• Writing for television
• Social Media
• Staging Operations
• Talent Relations
General Duties (may include and not limited to):
• Answer phones; perform other general administrative duties as assigned (i.e., compile production binders)
• Assist with production to execute office operations while on site
• Copy scripts or scan production documentation as needed
• Sit in on meetings, record notes, and participate in brainstorming sessions
• Shadow Stage Manager, Lighting, AD, or Audio operations
• Meeting notes as needed
• Assist on field photo shoots or offsite meetings (escorting talent, facilitating green rooms, getting release forms signed, etc.)
• Search for production resources and compile vendor lists as needed
• Update contact lists
• Reading trade magazines, websites, etc. regularly, reporting any pertinent entertainment news; conducting research
• Gather photos, links, and information for the company website; assist with managing social media accounts.
Special Events
• Prep Crew or Talent Gifts for onsite distribution
• Assist with private event execution if necessary
Salary/Benefits
$15.50 - 15.50 per hour
