Jemel McWilliams is currently seeking an Operations Manager to oversee operational, procedural and administrative functions in this multi-faceted company. Jemel McWilliams is CEO of an innovative company that operates in a creative and entertainment realm consistent with changing and diverse markets. In addition to ensuring that day-to-day operations run smoothly, the OPS Manager will be responsible for streamlining processes for efficiency while maximizing revenue streams. The OPS Manager will provide oversight and management for multiple small businesses under the umbrella of a single organization. This position is required to ensure the overall high quality of all businesses under the Jemel McWilliams brand; and should consistently be motivated, disciplined and ready to exceed high expectations for a company that's on the move. We are seeking a person who is a visionary with a proven track record, and who will be motivated to help steer the company to its growth potential financially and professionally. This is a great fit for someone with experience in growing a successful small business, and has knowledge of business structure, regulations and strategy. This role will also be responsible for handling many administrative aspects of both the business and the CEO of the company. The current staff of Jemel McWilliams consist of a small team of dedicated individuals that possess the mindset of ''no task too small'' and great outcomes will prevail. We are hoping to fill this position with someone of an equivalent mindset.
Responsibilities:
Review the company's processes and strategize cost-effective ways to improve
Oversee day-to day operations of all organizations under the Jemel McWilliams umbrella.
Create and improve upon systems, best practices and procedures.
Work with the CEO to launch small businesses that are profitable and fully compliant with all regulations.
Provide oversight to small businesses under the umbrella of the company
Consistently research and create new revenue streams for the company.
Manage budgets and forecast growth.
Track, monitor and report KPIs.
Handling a range of clerical and organizational tasks to include, but not limited to drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, creating and maintaining filing systems, bookkeeping, etc.
Skills
Experience as an Operations Manager or similar role.
Must have experience developing and growing businesses
Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive for business expansion
Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management.
Excellent communication skills.
Outstanding organizational skills
Degree in Business, Operations Management or comparable concentration required.
Familiarity with business principles, business regulations/compliance, and financial principles
Experience maintaining a budget and forecasting business growth
