Position Summary
JDs Management is seeking a motivated and resourceful Booking & Artist Development Coordinator to support our artist management division.
This position focuses on identifying music and entertainment opportunities, connecting with venues and industry professionals, and helping create performance opportunities for our artists.
This role is ideal for someone interested in the music business, networking, research, and artist development.
Key Responsibilities
Opportunity Research & Prospecting
Research Chicago-area venues, festivals, events, and entertainment organizations.
Identify performance opportunities for JDs Management artists.
Find booking managers, promoters, and event organizers.
Monitor venue calendars, event listings, and social media.
Maintain a database of opportunities and industry contacts.
Outreach & Relationship Development
Share approved artist information and promotional materials.
Conduct outreach by email, phone, and social media.
Follow up with contacts professionally and consistently.
Build relationships with venues, promoters, festivals, and event professionals.
Booking Conversation Development
Secure calls or meetings with qualified decision-makers.
Coordinate meeting dates, times, and communication methods.
Share relevant updates and correspondence with JDs Management.
Tracking & Reporting
Maintain & Track contacts, outreach, responses, and follow-ups.
Provide weekly outreach and opportunity updates.
Identify new venues, events, and industry relationships.
Salary/Benefits
Schedule & Compensation
Position: Part-Time Consultant
Hours: 15 hours per week
Compensation: $25 per hour
Location: Primarily remote, with a focus on Chicago-area opportunities.
The schedule is flexible; however, the consultant must be available for consistent weekly work and timely communication with JDs Management.
