Production Assistant / Studio Manager

This is a UNIQUE opportunity for a qualified candidate to join an established, small and versatile production company. Jay Silverman Productions is seeking a creative & technical problem solver who has a passion for filmmaking. Looking for a team player with at least (1) year industry experience with a strong desire to learn and grow with the company. THIS IS AN ENTRY LEVEL POSITION.

Currently we are in development on a feature film slated to shoot this summer, and the right candidate would also be intricately involved in the entire process.

Other client activity consists of Broadcast Commercials, TV Programming, New Media, and Commercial Print Photography.

Qualified candidates need to be proficient with:
- Digital Camera Systems (RED II & Epic)
- D.I.T. / Data Management
- Apple Operating Systems
- Final Cut Pro
- Lighting & Grip Equipment

Other experience and knowledge of a plus (but not mandatory):
- Photography (Nikon)
- Set Construction / Engineering (minimum)
- Photoshop
- HTML (manage website)
- FTP

Daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Equipment & Studio Maintenance
- Act at the primary point of technical contact with internal and external clients at Jay Silverman Productions
