Seeking its final backstage crew member for its Spring Children's Theatre Tour. Ideal candidate has reliable transportation throughout LA County (primarily Hollywood and the Valley) is able to regularly lift up to 50+ lbs and successfully pass a livescan background check and TB test.
Looking for someone for Load In/Out Days (typically Mondays & Saturdays) and for rehearsals and shows Thursdays through Saturdays (plus two scheduled Sundays). This Crew 'Swing' position will run spotlight as needed (we will train), assist with load ins/outs and props. Availability to cover for other crew members if/when they need an additional day off is a plus. Guaranteed 20+ hours of work each week and starts at $20/hour DoE. Load In/Out days are typically full 8 hour days plus after school and show hours on the other days.
Dates April 3-June 19, 2023.
Jaxx is also looking to expand its roster of theatre rental monitors, box office & concessions staff. These are entry level positions. We will train. Ideal candidates have reliable transportation throughout LA County, good people skills and love the world of theatre. Flexible hours and Pay is DoE ranging from $16.50-19.50/hour.
