We are looking to bring on an Assistant Producer for a great opportunity to learn about the nuances of servicing a growing digital media platform developed by a personality. It's a highly relevant form of entertainment in today's landscape and the fastest growing category of marketing.
What's the Role?
The Assistant Producer will work closely with the Creative Coordinator and be responsible for producing creative content for Jamie Makeup including a bi-monthly Live Show for Jamie's Swag Bag. This is the perfect role for an organized and motivated entry-level person who's looking to grow producing skills in the industry. You'll be working with other industry professionals and will have endless opportunities to expand your knowledge of how to produce and create marketing content. This role requires you to be self-sufficient and be able to manage changing priorities.
This role also oversees management of Jamie's new subscription cosmetic and skincare service, Swag Bag. You will work with the team to manage brand involvement and ensure it aligns with Jamie Makeup content, including the Live Shows, social media, and the company website.
The role is mostly remote, although you will be required to be on site for bi-monthly Live Shows in Burbank and for bi-monthly meetings in Encino, plus other occasional company meetings, rehearsals and events.
Below is a partial list of the responsibilities associated with this position (tasks will continue to evolve with the business):
-Responsible for producing Jamie Makeup Live Shows every 2 weeks
-Responsible for managing shared documentation regarding Swag Bag
-Responsible for all products and packaging related to Swag Bag
-Report for weekly meetings
-Respond to customer emails
-Support the Creative Coordinator with scheduling, creating and posting content
-Copywriting as needed
-Brainstorm creative concepts that align with goals of organization and requirements of partnered brands
-Brand communication to include: solidifying deals, scheduling meetings, answering questions, providing documentation to brands regarding partner deals
-Expand on social media efforts and channel growth. IG, FB, YT, Twitter, Pinterest
Qualifications:
-Must have college degree, preferably in related in field (communications, media, film)
-Must have your own computer
-Mac/PC proficient
-Google Drive proficient
-Minimum 6 month commitment
-Interest in or understanding of the beauty industry is preferred
