Pop Vocal Coach

JAMBOX Entertainment Studios Chelsea, NYC looking for a part time vocal coach for r&b, pop and possible other styles.
We're looking for someone in/ or accessible to the local NYC midtown Manhattan area.

Our Vocal Coach:
• should be able to teach vocal strengthening tips and techniques
• should be comfortable with the latest vocal styles and trends mainly in POP and R&B genres.
-Vocal coach should be able to play scales and chords on piano and read basic sheet music to accompany the student.
• Must know a variety of vocal exercises, technique builders etc.
• Must be comfortable teaching different vocal styles such as pop, rock, soul, musical theater or opera. Vocal production and stylizing a plus

Your main tasks may include both one-on-one voice lessons as well as assistance with recording sessions by providing helpful feedback regarding vocals, if the client so desires. A working knowledge of Pro Tools, Logic or other DAW recording software a plus! SM marketing, Website development, SEO, and music skills beyond the ones mentioned above a plus!

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years vocal coaching experience

• Comfortable with piano or guitar chords & sheet music

• Organization skills

• Must be able to work well solo and with a team

• Must be punctual

• Accessible to Chelsea/midtown MSG area
