Seasoned Audio Engineer/Music Producer/ Instructor Wanted (Midtown NYC)
JAMBOX Entertainment is currently looking to add a new, talented music producer/audio engineer to our team! Teaching ability and experience is a plus but not mandatory.

JAMBOX Entertainment Studios is a long-established, professional recording studio located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. For decades, we've been home to countless recording artists, producers, voice-over talent, and audio-book clients.
Position:
We're seeking an experienced seasoned Freelance Audio Engineer to work with us on an independent contractor basis. The right candidate must be locally available, and have a flexible schedule to be called in for sessions as needed and must be comfortable working with a variety of clients, from music artists (hip-hop, pop, r&b) to commercial recording and audiobook narrators.
Responsibilities:
Operate Pro Tools (Pro experience required) and manage recording sessions.
Record, edit, and mix vocals, instruments, and spoken word.
Maintain a professional, client-friendly atmosphere in the studio.
Deliver high-quality mixes and session files in a timely manner.
Requirements:
Minimum 5+ years professional studio experience (music and/or spoken word).
Strong command of Pro Tools and/or Logic Pro.
Ability to work independently and troubleshoot quickly.
Flexible schedule and reliable access to Midtown Manhattan.
Professional and friendly demeanor
Compensation:
Competitive hourly/freelance rates based on experience.
Independent contractor (1099).
