DESCRIPTION:
Seasoned Audio Engineer/Music Producer/Instructor Wanted (Chelsea NYC)

Position:
We're seeking an experienced seasoned Freelance Audio Engineer/musician to work with us on an independent contractor basis. The right candidate must be local and available, have a flexible schedule to be called in for sessions or to give lessons as needed, and must be comfortable working with a variety of clients, from music artists (Hip-Hop, PoP, R&B) to commercial recording (V-Os, Podcasts and audio-book.)

Responsibilities:
• Operate Pro Tools or equivalent DAW (Pro level experience required) and manage recording sessions.
• Record, edit, and mix vocals, instruments, and spoken word.
• Maintain a professional, client-friendly atmosphere in the studio.
• Deliver high-quality mixes and session files in a timely manner.
* Give lessons to students
* Create a comfortable relaxed atmosphere for clientele

Requirements:
• Minimum 5+ years professional studio experience (music and/or spoken word recording and mixing).
• Strong command of Pro Tools, Logic Pro and/or equivalent
• Solid understanding of mic techniques and signal flow
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot quickly.
• Flexible schedule and easy reliable access to Midtown Manhattan.
