Floater Job Description
We are looking for a full-time Floater to provide administrative support within our entertainment law firm. The Floater's duties include, but are not limited to, rolling calls, digital and physical filing, calendar management, call log maintenance, preparing documents, redlining, data entry, copying/scanning, and other general office duties and projects.
The Floater will also assume our receptionist's duties during the firm's lunch hour and as needed throughout the day. This involves answering the Firm's main phone line, attorneys' lines, greeting visitors, receiving deliveries, and other tasks as needed. Due to the visibility of this role, the candidate must possess the utmost level of professionalism in both demeanor and appearance, and have a friendly and pleasant disposition.
The ideal candidate has:
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, interpersonal and computer skills (including Microsoft Office and electronic document filing systems)
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate professionally in person, by email and phone with high-level personnel within and outside of the Firm with tact, diplomacy, and discretion, while at all times maintaining Firm and client confidentiality
• The ability to adapt to different attorneys' and assistants' work styles and practices
• Punctual attendance, reliability, self-motivation
• Entertainment industry experience
• 4 year college degree
You will need to work in the office four to five days a week. In addition to our competitive salary, we offer an excellent benefit package, including a platinum health insurance plan, profit sharing plan, and paid parking. The firm is also closed for the last two weeks of the year.
The pay scale for this position is $60,000-80,000, depending on experience.
