Job Overview
The Production Supervisor will oversee the scheduling and completion of work required for their assigned language group(s). Accordingly, this position will provide support and supervision to both internal and external resources to ensure workflows are efficient, schedules are adhered to, deliveries are prompt, and projects are completed by deadlines to the satisfaction of the client. The Supervisor will communicate and work directly with the Manager of Language Production to establish a collaborative work environment which fosters employee growth, continuous training and open communication.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities
• Oversee the coordination of all work for his/her assigned language groups
• Prepare and implement workflows to best coordinate production activities; to ensure quality meets client requirements
• Focus on relationship building with internal and external resources
• Actively oversee employee and contractor schedules to ensure coordinators can efficiently and appropriately assign work
• Promote, support and oversee continuous training of personnel: Coordinators, in-house editors and contractors
• Liaise and initiate interdepartmental interaction to proactively solve challenges
• Addresses and researches rejections as they occur
• Integral to the shaping, testing and implementing of new systems and software; such as scheduling and subtitling tools
• Responsible for carrying out all personnel procedures and resolving personnel issues in collaboration with Manager, Director and Human Resources
• Regularly and accurately invoice contractors and vendors in a timely fashion
• Flag issues and discuss with Manager on how to minimize costs and prevent delays by resolving operational and/or personnel issues
• Adhere to full-time schedule and overtime policies
• Adhere to company policies and procedures
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of experience in the field of localization for the entertainment and/or multimedia industry. SDI experience preferred
• Prior experience supervising staff and/or projects desired, not required
