This is a Full Time Job
ITV (Independent Television) - the UK's largest commercial broadcaster - is seeking a dynamic, creative, energetic videographer/editor for its busy Washington DC bureau. The successful candidate will be a NPPA style shooter/editor with a good attitude who is able to work cooperatively within a small team.
Position requirements:
-Knowledge of professional HD, DSLR, and GoPro cameras.
-Knowledge of professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere or Avid Media Composer.
-Able to light dynamic and interesting sit-down interviews, live shots, and pieces-to-camera.
-Have a valid passport and ability to travel domestically and internationally sometimes at short notice.
-Able to acquire media credentials from US Congress, White House, UN, etc.
-Capable of working in hostile environments.
-Knowledge of cellular bonded technology like LiveU.
-Ability to work weekends and holidays when required.
-At least 3-5 years experience as a shooter/editor in a fast-paced news station.
-Ability to relocate to the Washington DC area.
-Ability to work quickly and creatively under tight deadlines.
-Three month probation period
