Human Resources Coordinator
OVERVIEW
ITV America is now the largest independent producer of non-scripted content in America, through its production companies ITV Entertainment, Leftfield Pictures, Sirens Media, High Noon Entertainment, Thinkfactory Media, and Good Caper Crime. ITV America produces leading content, including Queer Eye, Hell's Kitchen, Love Island, The Four, Pawn Stars, Fixer Upper, Forged in Fire, and Real Housewives of NJ, just to name a few.
Based in ITV's Stamford, CT office this role will report to the VP, Human Resources. The HR coordinator role will be a positive and personable hands-on representative of ITV America whose job is to help facilitate all basic Human Resources functions.
KEY RESPONSIBILIITES:
• Assist with the onboarding process, including orientations and new hire paperwork
• Prepare paperwork required to place employee on payroll and establish employee's file
• Updates payroll records by entering new hires, job title changes, and department transfers
• Support HR department in carrying out various human resources programs and procedures for all company employees
• Assist in the employee separation/termination process
• Partner on corporate recruiting, including reviewing resumes and conducting interviews
• Track employee inquiries/claims re: workers comp, unemployment, STD, FMLA, and LOA
• Administrative tasks such as filing, scanning and data entry
• Perform all other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• 1-2 years preferred experience in Human Resources
• Strong typing skills; MAC/PC proficient with solid skills in MS Word and Excel
• Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, responding to issues promptly with a strong orientation toward customer service
• Ability to deal with highly confidential information in a professional manner
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and management
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, including adaptability, personal effectiveness, and the ability to establish quick rapport
• Solid organizational and time management skills, including prioritization and follow-through
• Preferred - Knowledge of principles and practices of Human Resources, including federal and state labor laws, government compliance requirements, Title VII, FMLA
• Bachelor's Degree qualified
