Based in ITV's Los Angeles office, this position is primarily responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the EVP, Business and Legal Affairs. ITV Studios America is ITV Studios' LA-based independent scripted television operation in the U.S. The studio develops and produces scripted programming, based on original ideas or established IP, for global exploitation across all platforms. The studio also has a growing portfolio of projects in development with multiple networks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage, organize, and update Google calendar and contacts; work with internal and external executives and assistants to schedule required meetings and conference calls
• Answer all incoming calls and relay all messages back to executives
• Work with internal team to coordinate travel, both domestic and international
• Format, review, and redline legal documents/contracts
• Prepare and submit monthly expense reports
• Draft and edit business correspondence
• Maintain department legal files and assist in the operations of the department
• Other duties and special projects as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• BA/BS degree
• Minimum of 1-2 years' experience supporting Business/Legal Affairs attorneys in a studio, network or entertainment law firm environment
• Must know basic terminology of the scripted entertainment industry
• Strong typing skills; MAC proficient with solid skills in MS Word, Excel, and G Suite
• Excellent verbal and written communication is a must
• Ability to multi-task and have excellent follow-through
• Self-starter with the ability to prioritize, organize and help establish administrative procedures
• Ability to handle confidential information and interact professionally with high-level executives
• Ability to understand and abstract various legal documents and contracts
• Strong interpersonal skills, team oriented, and able to take initiative to work independently
