Payroll Coordinator, ITV America and ITV Studios America

Reporting to the VP, Payroll and located in Los Angeles, CA this is an amazing and newly created opportunity for someone to step into a stable team supporting the entire payroll function for the US. The Payroll Administrator is responsible for processing biweekly payroll processes, troubleshooting with external payroll and flexible benefits providers, ensuring compliance with applicable payroll tax laws, and addressing all related accounting issues.

What You'll Do In This Role:

Execute the administration of payroll-related procedures for all employees (exempt/non-exempt and non-union), including the processing, recording, and reporting of all compensation-related actions.
Perform various technical payroll reporting and compliance activities across multiple entities.
Complete year-end payroll activity (W2s etc.).
Work directly with HR, Accounting and managers on any payroll matters.
Ensure accuracy of computations, statutory withholdings, voluntary deductions, garnishments and overall employee payroll accuracy.
Monitor the timeliness and accuracy of data submitted for payroll processing, such as timecards and adjustments.
Act as a liaison to external payroll service providers (ADP, Entertainment Partners) and other 3rd Party vendors to troubleshoot and resolve pending issues.
Develop and design ad hoc reports utilizing ADP software.
Analyze and reconcile any payroll out of balance situations.
You'll Be GREAT For This Role If You Have…..
Minimum 2 years of related payroll experience in a Multi-State corporate environment
CA labor experience is a big plus!
Strong and proven math skills are critical.
Strong Technical reporting skills, including a solid understanding of Excel.
Highly developed written & oral communication and customer service skills.
Ability to quickly learn new Payroll systems software.
Experience with ADP and Entertainment Partners is a plus.
Must be able to work independently with some supervision as well as be a team player.
Must be able to maintain highly confidential data.
Organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.
